Role details form
First thing's first: let's work out what role you're hiring for.
We've created a template for you to use that will help you to decide a few things:
What level of support you need from Plucky Frank.
Who will be involved in the recruitment process for this role.
Basic info about the role, including salary range, seniority level, and job title.
Who the role will report to, and its direct reports.
The skills and responsibilities of the role
Things we need to highlight in the job ad, including information about the company culture, any perks or inclusions, and info about what you don't want so that inappropriate candidates can self-select out of the process.
Step 1: Download the template
To download the template, click here – it will ask you to make a copy and save it straight to your Google Drive.
Step 2: Fill out the template
Fill out the template to the best of your ability. You may need to set up internal meetings in order to design the role accurately, particularly if this is the first time you have hired the role.
If you get stuck at any point in the form, please reach out and let us know. Getting stuck is likely an indicator that you need to further plan the skills, requirements, and details of the job or recruitment process, but never fear - we’re here to help.
In order for us to set up the job for you in Greenhouse (our recruitment software), we need you to have at least filled out the following sections:
Who is involved in recruiting for this role? (navy)
The basics (orange)
Key relationships (yellow)
What we need them to be able to do (blue)
Things to highlight in the job ad (green)
The 'Scoring and assessing the candidate' section at the bottom of the template is important when it comes to assessing candidates, but not crucial at this stage. If you are having trouble filling this out, just leave it for now and let us know - we can discuss the best way for us to help.
Step 3: Let us know you're ready for the next step
When you've filled everything out, let us know by sharing the form with us. From here, we will:
Write the job ad and send it to you for approval.
When approved, we'll set up the job in Greenhouse and post it to relevant job sites.
Confirm the scorecards and interview questions that will be used throughout the process.
